HISTORY

The original church building in the 1800s.

In August 31, 1882, a group of Christians met to organize a church for the purpose of carrying out the great commission.

Ten Christians were holding letters from different churches of the same faith and order and were enrolled as the first charter members.

Fellowship was chosen for the name of the church. Renson L. Armstrong, Sr. donated five acres of land for the purpose of building a church on Sept. 29, 1884.

Original services held once a month on the 1st Sunday and the previous Saturday.
